Description

Voice of Steel is an online multi-player robot fight simulator that allows users to create their own moves and strikes in order to prevail. The user can act as operator, coach, manager and mechanic at the same time. In the virtual game world, the user can become a famous champion or a leader of underground arenas, create a fight club or challenge enemies alone, find a sponsor or rely only on oneself.

The Game

It is 2067. Robots are widespread in all areas of life, from housekeeping to factory work to sports. People prefer not to fight themselves any more and use robots instead.

GlobalTech Corporation, the leader in modular robot production, announces annual robot fight tournaments, the winner of which stands to make $100 million. Everyone wants to get this prize, and participants are willing to cross the line in order to achieve it. It remains to be seen who will be the best robot fighter...

Features

  • Realistic fights
The game action is based on a new technology that emulates actual physical movements to animate the robot and create moves and strikes. Instead of pre-programmed animation sequences that are called up by certain key combinations, realistic fight sequences are created in which the damage to the opponent depends on speed, mass, angle of attack, and other factors. Properly delivered strikes are key to victory. The skeleton of each robot has more than 1000 connections, simulating rigid structures, joints, tendons and muscles. No ragdolls!

  • High performance
Adaptive algorithms are used for simulating both robots and environment without appreciable loss of performance. Physics frequency is 60 ticks per second without FPS failures. This has already been proven at the tech demo stage! No need to worry about game speeds on a slow computer - fight calculations run on the server side, which also eliminates cheating.

  • Versatility
Each robot consists of 16 modules, which carry different characteristics. Now more than 100,000 combinations are possible, not counting color variations. Users can create internally and externally unique fighting machines!

  • Freedom of moves
Each user can create any move or strike and use it in a battle. That gives everyone the opportunity to create their own fighter with a unique fighting style. After all, the "frog stroke" or "double stroke to the head" at a special angle can give a great advantage when your opponent does not expect this.

  • Maximum control
In addition to traditional keyboard and gamepad controls, we developed a unique voice control system, which allows users to manage their fighter by voice. This is very helpful as saying the name of a strike one came up with is easier than remembering key combinations.
